Holiday @ Home Scheme - 6th, 7th and 8th August 2024
Holiday @ Home (from 9.30 to 3.30pm Tuesday & Thursday. Wednesday 9.15 to 4.00pm) is designed for anyone who would benefit from our activities, for example those with mild dementia, mobility and sensory problems Individual support is offered to those who have particular needs. Some of our participants are active and just come along for a few days of fun!
Activities: Complimentary raffle/bingo . Guests are welcome to join any or none of the activities provided including listening to stories, or poetry dominoes jigsaws cards, Scrabble & Rummikub and more! Bingo, Quiz and Crafts for all. Thought for the Day. Reading newspapers or magazines or just chatting. Foot and hand treatments. Tuesday and Thursday afternoons there will be entertainment, which could include, singing, film clips, and a professional entertainer. Enjoy wonderful food together, which includes a 2 courses lunch, non-alcoholic beverages and sweet treats.
Each day on arrival hot drinks and biscuits will be served. Before leaving on Tuesday and Thursday, there will be refreshments including cakes! Wednesday will be our coach outing with a meal served at Springfield, Spalding, leaving plenty of time to shop!!
Transport can be provided to collect and return guests to their home if required.
Cost £30 for 3 days. A minimum of 2 days required to book. This is a small contribution to help cover costs as we rely on grants and donations to subsidise this event.
