Contacts, Church Officers & Our History

Queen Street Church continues to be a growing church where we are regularly welcoming newcomers into our midst! A very warm welcome is extended to you, your family and friends to come along to join in with us in worshipping God! We have great pleasure in announcing that we have appointed a “Children, Family and Community” lay worker, Mr Tim Wong, to help our Church develop and grow.

Services are held each Sunday at 10.30am. Our youngsters go out for their own sessions (called Friends of God Club) part-way through worship, returning near the end to tell and show us what they have been doing. All our FoG Club leaders and helpers are DBS compliant.

Within the Peterborough Methodist Circuit to which we belong, there are, in common with most denominations a shortage of stipended (salaried) ministers. Our minister has five other churches within the Peterborough Circuit so cannot be present each week. We therefore draw upon a combination of supernumerary (retired) ministers, lay preachers and our own worship leaders for our worship services which are normally scheduled at 10.30am each Sunday.

Details of our services can be found on the “Services” webpage and in the "Calendar" tab above. Please click on the 3 small bars, top right.

Our Minister Rev Dr Langley Mackrell-Hey can be contacted on 07525 762538 or via email at revlmh@gmail.com for matters including weddings, funerals and baptisms or leave a message on the Church phone number - 01733 203931. Somebody will give you a call back but please be advised that this number is not manned 24/7 and a delay may occur in replying.

For pastoral concerns and support our Pastoral Officer Lyn is contactable at lyn.wright114@gmail.com or via the Minister.
